About me
Hello, My name is Jessica Campbell, I am currently a graduate student at CSU Global and pursuing my masters in education in administration. I have been teaching 8th grade math for the last seven years, four of which have been at a charter school in Denver. I am also currently the middle school Athletic Director at Highline Academy and have had the pleasure coaching soccer, basketball and cross-country.
I fell into teaching after reading a book by Jonathan Kozol that directly led me to a program called Teach For America and then commenced my career as an educator. I taught my first two years in an inner city school in Tulsa, Oklahoma and fell in love with teaching. I haven't looked back since. I find the education field to be exceptionally challenging and engaging, I love a career that is constantly evolving. I would love to continue to see where the road will take me.
In my free time, I enjoy running, the outdoors, hot yoga, traveling and immersing myself into different cultures, and being with my loved ones (including my two dogs). I love the Colorado weather and all that it has to offer in all seasons!
Please feel free to contact me and seed me feedback!
