Edmodo: Teachers and students can take advantage of this great tech tool, as it offers a Facebook-like environment where classes can connect online.
MangaHigh: MangaHigh offers teachers a wealth of resources for game-based learning in mathematics.
OpenStudy:Encourage your students to work together to learn class material by using a social study site like OpenStudy.
Socrative: Available for computers, mobile devices, and tablets, this student response system engages students through games and exercises on any device they have on hand. Even better, teachers can easily assess student progress and track grades.
Capzles: There are so many different ways that Capzles can be used in the classroom, there’s bound to be an application that fits your needs. What does it do? Capzles makes it simple to gather media like photos, videos, documents, and even blog posts into one place, making it perfect for teaching, learning, or online projects.
Inside Mathematics: Inside Mathematics is frequently cited as the best, most thought-provoking task-based website used in algebra classrooms. Inside Mathematics produces tasks containing access points for all learners.
PollEverywhere: PollEverywhere is a polling tool that works across all devices. Teachers can push out single question polls and students can respond from any device.
Kahoot!: web-based tool, allows teachers to ask consecutive, quiz-show type questions using a game-based, engaging format. Students respond by joining a game through a unique number provided by the teacher.

A lesson on technology...
The last school year my thoughts on how to best use technology in the classroom has completly transformed. Scared and overwhelmed I would say, however, after trying to incorporate more technology in a more meaningful way I have found it to be a hit with my with students! Scary, it sure was, I am still slowly learning how to transform my classroom from teacher centered to student centered. This has transformed my classroom from a compliance to excitement! We live in such an exiting time why not make my classroom and lessons exciting and engaging?! Students who dreaded math have begun to love the class. It has been a completly positive experience and I am excited to continue along this journey. Below you will see my lesson plan that is based of the TPACK model and resources to go along with it. It was a simple shift that changed my room to a more collaborative learning environment.
